About South Park 4 x 4
We are a small 4x4 Club based in Fairplay Colorado which is located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Our members are from Park County and some of the surrounding counties and a few of our members reside in several states. The common thread amongst us all is we like to get out and go wheeling in the wonderful Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Our club is open to all 4-Wheelers who enjoy getting out on the trail. We have rigs from totally stock to very extreme. We are dedicated to safe 4 wheeling and to keeping the trails in our area open for all to use.
We have adopted 3 trails in our area where we do trail clean ups and maintenance at least twice a year. We also work in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service and groups that are dedicated to preserving the wilderness and trails such as the Mosquito Range Heritage Initiative.
We try to plan trails rides and events that may run just for the day to a weekend or several days in length. We wheel all over our home state of Colorado and also go to Moab Utah a couple of times a year. Feel free to join us on our monthly run or meetings.
We try to be involved in the South Park & Fairplay Community Events. We participate in the Annual Burro Days Parade every July. During the Holiday Season we adopt names from the local "Giving Tree" and also donate money to the local Salvation Army to purchase holiday meals for those in need. In 2007 we adopted 8 Children and 4 Families. We believe in giving back to our community as much as possible. We have also started a book drive for our brave men & women in Iraq. We are sending novels and outdoor & automotive/4wheel drive related reading material to our Soldiers.
If you would like more information on our Club or would like information on trails to run in Colorado please drop us an email and we’ll be happy to help out. Thanks for stopping by.
